Greenfield Scholars

In 2014 the American Society of Agronomy and the Agronomic Science Foundation developed a new program within the Golden Opportunities Scholars Institute.

The new program is sponsored by the American Society of Agronomy and the International Certified Crop Adviser program with the specific purpose to support outstanding undergraduates in a Bachelor of Science or Associate of Science program with plans to enter the workforce upon graduation and pursue the Certified Crop Adviser / Certified Professional Agronomist profession and certification.

Golden Opportunity Scholars who are chosen for the Greenfield program will be paired with mentors who are CCAs in their region.  Scholars in this program will participate in all GO activities as well as participate in Certified Crop Adviser programs in their home state or province.
