Sally Turpin is a student at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and majoring in Animal Science and Agronomy. Sally is a senior and will graduate in December 2010.
She served as the Vernon County 4-H Summer Agent in 2007 and last year fielded peas and snap beans as a crop scout intern for Hartung Brothers Inc. This summer she will be interning on a dairy farm in Australia.
She has held officer positions in Collegiate FFA, Babcock House, as well as in UW Saddle & Sirloin, where she will serve as the club’s president this year. Additionally, she is a College of Agriculture & Life Sciences Ambassador.
Sally intends to pursue a career in production agriculture after graduation and would like to become a Certified Crop Advisor.
