Douglas Wolf is student in the Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences Department at the University of Arkansas. He is junior majoring in environmental, soil, and water science with a minor in sustainability and plans to graduate in 2014.
Douglas has traveled to Dangriga, Belize and Edinburgh, Scotland to further his academic and professional development. In the 2011 Belize Community Development Project, Douglas coordinated with the Belize Ministry of Agriculture to execute various community projects. In 2012, he took classes in Scotland focusing on conservation and wildlife management.
Douglas works with his mentor/advisor Dr. Kristofor Brye on his undergraduate honors thesis research project and is currently assisting in creating a soil library using visible-near infrared spectroscopy methods.
Douglas plans to enter graduate school focusing on environmental soil science. His professional goal is to become an environmental consultant in the private or government sector.
